Nancy is a self-proclaimed novelty chaser and self-improvement junkie, who finds her peace in planning and journalling. A former Kiwi journalist turned entrepreneur, she started an online stationery store specifically to supply notebooks and craft supplies that were otherwise difficult to obtain in New Zealand and Australia. Her blog focuses on helping people achieve “planner peace”, using an organisational structure called Bullet Journalling and inspiring people to try new things and feel comfortable making mistakes. Her personal motto is “it doesn’t have to be perfect, it just has to be done” – believing that perfection is often used as a front for fear, the kind that stops people taking action and moving forward. She fully supports art and craft as a therapeutic outlet, and uses conscious planning as a way to keep her life feeling under control, even if everything is changing around her. She finds Bullet Journalling to be the perfect marriage of the two.
Bill Monroe is a 46 year old corporate trainer, technology/product evangelist, podcast producer and Stroke Survivor. After he was laid off from his last job, Bill taught himself podcasting and launched 2-Minute Talk Tips to share his experience as a public speaker and to help folks become more effective presenters in as little as 2 minutes a week.

Bill was born and raised in New Your City, attended Carroll College in the rural town of Helena, Montana, and ultimately moved to Seattle, WA, in the northwest corner of the US, where he has lived for the past two decades. In his spare time, Bill continues to work on his recovery, reads a lot of books, and wastes too much time trying to read the whole Internet or playing silly games on his tablet. Bill loves technology, hates paper that’s not in book form, and enjoys all manner of nerdy and geeky things.
Bill is also the new leader of the Seattle Young Adult Stroke Survivors group. You can follow Bill on Twitter @CurrentlyBill and through strokecast.com.

Steph is a personal trainer and nutritional coach, who specialises in coaching women who are struggling with their weight, even though they have tried a variety of exercise programmes and diets. Having been in the fitness field for over 20 years, Steph has seen plenty of women struggle to lose weight. It wasn’t until she experienced her own issues with weight that she gained during a series of stressful events that she developed a true understanding of why some women cannot shift their excess weight. Through further study and research she has discovered that a lot of women have normalised being stressed, which leads to hormonal imbalances. The last thing they need is a strict diet or extreme exercise programme. Instead they need to heal their systems first and then build up their training gradually, similar to an athlete. Steph has mastered how to achieve the right balance that enables her clients to not only lose weight but also lead a more energised and relaxed lifestyle.

Sam has gone off the beaten track walked by many Clinical Psychologists. He first experienced the benefits of learning how to calmly focus my mind when he was having panic attacks as a young man – mindfulness helped him work through his struggles with confidence and he started to grow into the person he always wanted to be. He progressed from avoiding public speaking to giving talks, teaching classes and winning prizes for presenting his work.
Sam trained at Otago University and then worked in a rehabilitation centre for people with serious psychiatric disorders. In this job he began teaching mindfulness to groups and witnessed again the powerful positive impact that learning this skill can have. He also noticed that the majority of people in the hospital were men and suspected that the culture of being a “hard man” was playing a role. Many of the men there had not felt able to talk about their problems when they had started to develop, or had not been encouraged by others to do so.
Sam hosts Tough Talk, a documentary web series created to reduce the stigma surrounding men’s mental health. Talking is tough, so it makes you tough to talk. Men share their stories of times when they faced challenges and how they overcame them.
You can access Sam’s You Tube channel here.

Alani Bankhead might as well have a PhD in fear and exhaustion. The 14 year U.S. military veteran has hunted Al Qaeda with special operations, chased spies on multiple continents, fought to rescue victims of human trafficking and child sexual assault, and even led a team of bodyguards responsible for the protection of a senior U.S. government official. A petite female clearly not looking the part of the hardened military officer, Alani spent most of her career fearing she was never good enough — until God’s persistent love and grace intervened and demonstrated time and again that the attributes she felt were weaknesses were actually strengths. Alani’s new mission is to coach Christian women to overcome their fears and anxieties so they can finally live the powerful and abundant lives God called them to.
